The Show

During our shows, the Company flows through streets and squares, where attracts the audience with flag evolutions and historic music. A standard-bearer guides the colorful parade carrying with him the "Gonfalone", a wonderful flag hand-painted by the old-school master painter of our town, Antonio Marroni, that pictures a view of Città della Pieve.

The parade guides the audience in the place where the show will be performed in its most amazing exercises. After the greeting to the square, the Company shows its exhibitions, now performing its hardest tricks, now charming the people with its coreographic skills.

Following, the main "traditional" exhibitions, but a large number of other kinds of exercises can be planned to fit every single logistic need. The parade is an itinerant exercise thet flows through the streets of the cities with its flag-weavings and musics, gathering people and guiding to the mains sqare where the show eill be done. With our historically accurate costumes, the flags and the ancient melodies, the Parade can partecipate at longer and more complex historic processions, and be considered an exercise by itself.

A one man show that leaves you breath taken when up to 5 flags are used to create an amazing choreography by only one individual. The technical aspect of this performance requires an elevated level of concentration and precision.

This is a classic choreography where a pair of Alfieri are seen performing. The intricacy of this performance is the precision of throwing the flags in an orderly fashion as for the reach a height of roughly 15 meters and become extremely hard to control.

This exercise is done by 4 or 6 athlets, that through a balanced mix of technical and coreographical skills, are able to amaze with hard weavings and fast changes of disposition.

As in every show, the final exhibition is dedicated at the most entertainig exercise. 8, 10 or more flag-throwers fill the square with precise geometries that require, during the year, a constant work and training. The Big Teamdemontrates the true value of the Company in its every single member, mixing in a single exercise the technical ability, the sinchronism and the marvellous musics.

A really innovative and entertainig exhibition where the coreographic side of flag-throwing is exalted. The Company performs, in a totally dark square, weavings with flags painted in fluorescent colors, that seem to gain life from the light of special ultraviolet lamps.

Not only a fundamental part in the entertaining of every single exercise, our musicians, composed by different kinds of drums and trumpets, introduce at the square a mix of medieval musics and complex coreographies.
